Terms of Use

Last updated 17 August 2026

In short: send us one stream, we forward it to the platforms you choose. You are responsible for what you broadcast and for following each platform's own rules. Keep your stream key secret.

1. The service

EchoStream accepts a single RTMP stream from you and relays a copy to each destination you configure. We do not re-encode, alter, or record your video. What each platform does with it is between you and them.

2. Your account

3. What you may not do

4. Plans and limits

Your plan sets how many destinations you may configure, how many streams you may run at once, and which relay regions you may use. These are enforced when a stream starts; a stream that exceeds them is refused rather than degraded. Free and demo tiers may be limited or withdrawn at any time.

5. Payment

Plans are prepaid for the period shown at purchase. Where payment is arranged directly rather than by card, your order is recorded as pending and the plan is activated once payment is confirmed — until then the plan is not active. Prices may change, but not for a period you have already paid for.

If something goes wrong on our side and you could not use what you paid for, contact us at the support address on your account page and we will sort it out. Beyond that, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the service running, but we do not promise uninterrupted streaming. Relay nodes are restarted for maintenance and updates, and a restart ends any stream running on that node — we avoid doing it while a node is carrying traffic, but cannot guarantee it. Platforms also fail on their own; a destination that drops is retried for as long as you keep streaming, and shown as failing in your panel if it cannot be restored.

7. Suspension

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is being used to harm others, or where we are required to. Where it is reasonable we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. Suspension stops streaming, including a stream already in progress.

8. Your content

Your stream is yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service — to receive your stream and transmit it to the destinations you configured, for as long as it takes to do that. We claim no other rights, and we keep no copy.

9. Connected platform accounts

Connecting a platform account is optional — every destination can be added with a stream key by hand instead. Where you connect one, you authorise us to read only what that feature needs, and you remain bound by that platform's own terms. For YouTube that means the YouTube Terms of Service; this service uses YouTube API Services, and Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google security settings, or by disconnecting the account in the panel. What we do with that data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

10. Liability

The service is provided as-is. We are not liable for lost viewers, lost revenue, or lost opportunity arising from an interruption, a failed destination, or a platform's own decisions. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the problem. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above changes and we will tell you in the panel when the change is significant. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them. Questions go to the support address on your account page.

The governing law and the courts that apply are those of the operator's place of business. Ask us at the support address on your account page if you need this stated explicitly for a contract.
